Hampton is a proud, longtime resident of Richmond, Virginia. She is a graduate of St. Catherine’s School, Sweet Briar College, and Elon University School of Law. Hampton’s law practice has been exclusively devoted to family law.  She has been successfully and zealously representing clients inside and outside the courtroom in complex family law matters including, but not limited to: divorce, equitable distribution, spousal and child support, custody and visitation, and protective order cases.

Hampton appreciates the significant responsibility of being her clients’ advocate, especially when dealing with difficult and emotional issues involving their children and finances.  She understands that each case is unique—some cases settle, and some go to trial.  Hampton is prepared to help her clients navigate settlement negotiations, working with experts, discovery disputes, depositions, business valuations, and trial.  She believes that communication and mutual trust and respect are crucial in order to maintain a successful attorney-client relationship.  Hampton is passionate about her service as a Guardian ad litem, advocating for juveniles in Henrico county.  She has participated in Wills for Heroes and Wills for Seniors programs.  Hampton has been named as one of Virginia’s Super Lawyers Rising Stars 2019-2024.  She resides with her family in the West End.
