Andrea Stiles is a founding partner and President of Stiles Ewing Powers PC where she specializes in all aspects of family law, with a focus on collaborative law. Her philosophy is that disputes should be resolved respectfully, fairly and efficiently. The best interests of children is a focal consideration and the family’s resources should be allocated to meet the reasonable needs of the parties and children.

Ms. Stiles has devoted her more than 30-year legal career to helping client’s with family law problems. She is a highly-awarded attorney with many distinguished honors such as her selection as the 2012 Best Family Lawyer in Richmond by Best Lawyers®. She was recognized by her peers as the best family law attorney in Virginia by Virginia Business magazine’s “Legal Elite” and has been listed in the “Legal Elite” every year since 2000. Ms. Stiles is listed as one of the top 50 Virginia female attorneys by Super Lawyers®, and has been listed as such every year since 2007. Virginia Lawyers Weekly named Ms. Stiles as one of the most Influential Women in Virginia. Ms. Stiles is a past Chair of the Board of Governors for the Virginia Family Law Section of the Virginia State Bar. She holds Martindale-Hubbell’s highest Preeminent Attorney AV rating, is listed in The Best Lawyers In America®, and is a fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and a fellow of Litigation Counsel of America.

A 1986 graduate of the T. C. Williams School of Law at the University of Richmond, Ms. Stiles was a member of the University of Richmond Law Review and received the Best Advocate Award in 1984. She is a frequent lecturer on family law topics.
