Jessica Beatty (formerly Boutwell) has dedicated her practice for more than a decade to supporting and assisting families in navigating the life changes that come with separation and divorce. She is experienced in representing clients in all stages of domestic relations disputes including Collaborative divorce and mediation, negotiation, and litigation of all domestic issues (child custody and visitation, spousal support, child support, third party custody and visitation, protective orders, and premarital agreements). Jessica is certified in Collaborative divorce. She has been selected to Super Lawyers® “Rising Stars” since 2019 and Virginia Business Magazine “Legal Elite” for Family Law/Domestic Relations since 2020.

Jessica stays very involved in the local family law community. She is currently the Vice Chair of the Virginia Trial Lawyers’ Association Family Law Section; an active member of the Collaborative Professionals of Richmond and Virginia Collaborative Professionals; and a member of a number of local bar associations. She is a founding member of the Virginia Chapter of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts.

Jessica graduated with honors from the University of Virginia and obtained her law degree from William & Mary School of Law. She is admitted to practice law in Virginia, the District of Columbia, and the U.S. District Court for Eastern District of Virginia. 

Jessica is a bonus mom and a Girl Scout troop leader; she lives in Richmond with her husband and two amazing stepdaughters and their cat.
